2016 Old Vine Zinfandel

  • Silver - SF Chronicle Wine Competition 2019

  • Silver - Texas International Wine Competition 2019

  • Gold - Orange County Fair Wine Competition 2019

It is a rare thing for a vineyard to reach one hundred years of age. With this bottle of wine we celebrate the fruit of the vine, the heritage of the land, and three generations of the Soucie family who have nurtured this ground since 1916.

We note aromas of plums, white pepper, pomegranate, red currants, plus hints of fig and vanilla. The wine is medium in body, silky-smooth, yet surprises with its depth and opulent flavors of cherries, strawberries and other bright red fruits. The finish is long and lingering and reveals even more fruit and berry flavors and notes of cardamon, clove, anise, vanilla and toast.

The aroma is captivating, with dark cherry and ripe dark berries. It feels luxurious and silky on the tongue, full-bodied in the mouth, exhibiting flavors of deep plum, leather, and blueberries. It is velvety and dry on the finish. This blend is structured and satisfying. It is truly a bottle to enjoy as you contemplate the passage of time.....

Dark fruit flavors of plum and blueberry are lifted with tastes of strawberry and rasberry. Hints of cola, nutmeg, coffee, toast and spice abound. This wine is boldly flavored and darkly complex and should age very well for two to five years.

2017 Viognier

  • Double Gold - SF Chronicle Wine Competition 2019

  • Bronze - Texas International Wine Competition 2019

If you liked the 2016 Viognier, you're going to LOVE this! The 2017 vintage is a luxurious, silky white wine, redolent of honey on the nose and palate, with nuances of apple, peach and citrus notes. It manages to be both refreshing and full-bodied, bright and slightly creamy.
